1a : a ministry of humanitarian work commissioned by a religious organization.

Missions are important to us at GLACC. We support a number of groups in our community as well as missionaries in other countries. Our goal is to become increasingly involved in serving the needs of our community and the world.

Adult Ministries


Adult Bible Study

While the kids are enjoying Children's Sunday school, adults are offered the opportunity to grow closer to God trough a study of the Bible.


Women's Christian Fellowship

This group provides opportunities for service, mission, fellowship and spiritual growth and is open to all women from the church and community. Past projects include rummage sales, mother/daughter teas, and knitting blankets for preemies.


Women's Book Club

This group for women meets for spiritual development, discussing current Christian books.It's a time to share our struggle and success in our walk of faith. Join us for fellowship, laughs, and coffee shared with a warm, loving group of friends.


Praise Team (Music Ministry)

A mix of traditional and contemporary music is a vital part of every worship service at GLACC. Offering praises through song is a favorite way for many of our members and friends to grow closer to God.

Children’s Ministries


Nursery

Parents are invited to take advantage of our nursery available during Worship Services and Sunday school hour. The nursery provides a safe haven for children from birth through 4-years of age and is staffed by GLACC volunteers who have a love for children.


Sunday School

Bible study is an important foundation for developing a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. Each Sunday during the regular school year, we offer Children’s Sunday School for pre-school through 6th Grade during the last half of our service. 7th grade through adult classes run from 11:00-11:45.


Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School A more relaxed opportunity for learning about God is offered through our summer Vacation Bible School. Typically held in the evening one week in June, VBS is a free program offering a fun-themed learning experience for children from pre-school through 6th grade.


Youth Group

Junior High and Senior High youth meet weekly during the school year for fun, Bible study, and service projects. Special activities are held during the summer. Mission projects include service at Kentucky Mountain Bible College, and Camp Beechpoint in Allegan.

Other Ministries


Hands of God

An extention of the above Charitable Distributions, Hands of God is a community-wide project that includes an on-site facility for housing clothing and household goods for the Distributions ministry. Visit the Hands of God website to stay up to date with needs and places where you can offer talents and goods to help out.


Conspiracy of Kindness

Our members are actively involved in "showing God's love in a tangible way" to those in the area. Several times a year, we meet for activites ranging from serving coffee on chilly days to lawnwork to filling windshield washer jars, simply to show people service from the heart.
